Dwight Howard

Dwight Howard. Young. Strong. Athletic. At his young age Dwight Howard already dominates the league through his athleticness and power. Despite his strong attributes like dunking or rebounding the ball this young player still have so much room for improvement. Being the best dunk and rebounder of the league last year he still has great flaws to this game. Dwight Howard doesn't have a good jumpshot. He has too much turnovers. The turnovers will decrease with being more experienced in future. But him learning how to shoot the ball from 5 to 7 feet is a harder task for him to master. Being able to shoot the ball is uncharacteristic
He also shines through his humor and good sportsmanship. Both of these features are great for becoming a great player in future.

Rare Athlete To Respect Shaquille O'Neal

O'Neal is interesting for other reasons, though. Despite all of his wealth, he has a desire to do good in life. Perhaps it is due to his mother and stepfather, a military man named Phil Harrison, that have guided him. Shaq always refers to Harrison as his father without a blink. In reality that is so since Harrison did all the heavy-lifting in terms of raising a family.
Shaquille married his longtime girlfriend with whom he has children. That may not sound like a big deal but it sends a message. This is particularly true for the black community since the out-of-wedlock birthrate is an astounding 70%. Marriage sends a positive message instead of the view of another athlete just running around impregnating anything that moves.
O'Neal also went back and got his college degree. A cynic would say, "Why bother?" but it is an accomplishment for him and a promise to his mother. It also says college is important since virtually nobody will become an NBA player despite the marketing of it everywhere. You have a better chance of getting hit by lightning.

Duncan

Since Tim Duncan entered the league he has always been one of the best players. Tim Duncan stayed in school at Wake Forest for all four years, and this paid off for him immediately when he got to the NBA. Unlike a lot of players that make the leap too early, Tim Duncan allowed his game to develop at the college level. For this reason he instantly became one of the best players in the league. He has shown this time and time again; year in and year out.

The best thing about Tim Duncan is that he can do it all. For the San Antonio Spurs Tim Duncan is consistently the leading scorer as well as the leading rebounder. To go along with this he also gets a couple of blocked shots each game as well. This makes Tim Duncan one of the best all around players in the league. And thanks to him, the Spurs always find themselves going deep into the playoffs. And a couple of times in Tim Duncan’s career he has finished off these playoffs runs with an NBA title.

Chris Paul -Kobe Battle For MVP

Chris Paul is a prodigy, the best point-guard in the NBA. He is a leader, on and off the court, and should be an all-star for years to come. The question is, is Paul ready to be the NBA MVP? Kobe Bryant thinks it is his time, and maybe he is correct. The NBA MVP is not a lifetime achievement award, however, and from that standpoint, Chris Paul has as a good a chance as anyone to win it.

The only others with any hope of the MVP award would be Kevin Garnett of the Boston Celtics, and LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Garnett has had a monster season, leading the Celtics with the best record in the NBA.

Kobe Bryant will have the luxury of being at home, but the Hornets have been hot, staving off all NBA West comers, still atop the NBA West, in what has been the most competitive NBA Conference in NBA History.
